Automatic Sales Area Determination For SO Creation From IDOCs?

Hi,

We get IDOCs in from an external system which will trigger automatic creation of SOs.

We'll be provided with the SAP customer # but will need a way to automatically determine the sales area since that info is not included in the IDOC.

I've heard that there are condition tables that can do this?

Can anybody please provide some insight?
