Automatic Sales Area Determination For SO Creation From IDOCs?

Hi,

We get IDOCs in from an external system which will trigger automatic creation of SOs.

We'll be provided with the SAP customer # but will need a way to automatically determine the sales area since that info is not included in the IDOC.

I've heard that there are condition tables that can do this?

Can anybody please provide some insight?

Hi Lee,

Better to maitain the logic in the IDOC it self,you are copying customer through IDOC then that customer may have sales area so you put the logic copy the sales area of the customer also to the Sales order.

HI Gavin,

There is no automatic determination of Sales area by conditioning technique.(Condition tables).

Most probably you will have to setup z-tables to set this up.
