Deactivate Tax Code

Can anyone please tell me "How to deactivate a tax code" not deactivating a line in the tax code.

Hi

in ftxp, select the tax code, and then go to menu. in that you have an option to deactivate the tax code.

I do not have an option to deactivate the tax code in the menu.

It only gives an option to deactivate the line in a tax code.

I would like to deactivate a tax code. Plz guide.

i dont think that is available.

use the personal list option at the time of selection.

here you select only valid(active ) tax codes.

Hi,

I have two suggestions:

1) delete the accounts being assigned to the tax code; this will prevent that postings can be made to it

2) create a validation which checks for valid tax codes in a customer-defined additional Z-table.
