max. lenght of output field in ALV

Hi all!

I have a field of type string in my ALV in which I have to show all the open Production orders and their individual qty.s for the specific material.

Whenever the production orders are more , some values are not displaying in the output. Is there any restriction for the length of string type field in ALVs output ? If so, up to how many max. characters can be displayed? If I want to show the full data, what should I do? Please help.
