The Future of SAP Application server or webserver in updated hana versions

I was reading that SAP Hana has a XS i.e. extended application services which is a footprint of a web server or an application server. And then XSA - extended application services has been introduced which is much more engineered version

I am wondering if in future releases of HANA, are they aiming to completely demolish the concept of a separate application server or a web server and make HANA completely self sufficient?
