Key figures in Both Rows & Columns

Hi BW Users,

I have question on structures . I have key figures K1,K2,K3,K4,K5,K6.

now I want to place K1,K2,K3 in rows and K4,K5,K6 in column.

will it be possiable .if not whats the alternative for this as my under wants the key figures to be displayed in that manner.

Please help me out as its urgent requirement

Hi Sanjay,

As far as I know, there is only one possibility:

Create characteristics with the same format as the keyfigures.

Add these to your info cube and fill the in a routine in the update rules.

Create two global structures and try to use them as you wish

I think we can create only 2 structures (One characterstic & One key figure ) and here i want to place key figures in both rows & columns.Is it possiable to create 2 KF structures.

As mentioned already, you need to map your kf to charecteristics in cube and use one char structure. To map that you have to write routines in update rules

Can you elaborate the requirement a little? Why would you need KFs in both rows and columns?

What would the cells which come as a result of intersection of these rows and columns imply? That is why this is not allowed.
