Reservation item number not start with 1

Hi Experts;

This is regarding the discrepancy between order reservation item number in our system. There are reservations in the system, which item number 1 is missing.Could you please explain the possible causes for this.

Scenario: There are several alternative BOMs and created production versions.(Alternate BOM selection using production orders). Production process is integrated with 3rd party software with MII.When user create a production order for a material, the reservation starts with item 7 instead of 1.(BOM contains 6 items). Thanks for the reply..

when i check the system, I observed that there are some reservations starts with RSPOS value 1 for same order type. this is around 0.01% from all orders. Create orders using CO01 directly and transfers to the 3rd part software. Please see the screen.

Further there is no such situation for the other order types.. I have attached the screen 2 for your reference.

What about other documents? Is it starting with RSPOS as 7 for every documents? How does your production order get created (BAPI/BDC or any other) from 3rd party software to SAP?
