Hi All
I am configuring PP(principal propagation) between the three systems using XI which is R\3->XI->R\3. The R\3 systems are the different.
For this configuration i have followed this blog
/people/alexander.bundschuh/blog/2007/01/16/principal-propagation-in-sap-xi
My PP is propagating the the expected user from R\3->XI. but not able to propagate the user from XI->R\3.
it gives the error "401 unauthorized" in the SXMB_MONI.
Please help.
Hi,
Check if the correct user credentials are available in bothe sender and receiver R/3 systems.
Also verify if the J2EE Engine's certificate to the ACL was added properly with STRUST transaction and same certificate maintained for ABAP & Java server as well as clients.
Thanks
Swarup

Hi Vinod,
Please can you refer SAP Note 852237 and verify if ACLs (Access Control lists) have include propagated application users if principal propagation is applied.
Have you installed the ABAP kernel patch level 149.
Its required for PP. Try to execute the report RSXMB_CONFIG_PP and see if its getting executed properly.
