Outbound delivery Picking and Post Goods Issue for Z item catagory

Hello All,

I am trying to update Picking status and PGI status should be completed for few deliveries types...

Here are the open points

1. Delivery item category(YBSN) is Relevant for picking and Delivery needs to be picked

2. I have to update both status Picking and PGI without Transfer order creation

Is this possible to update status at delivery document level without creation of TO.

I have gone through in the SCN using Function Module WS_DELIVERY_UPDATE or SD_DELIVERY_UPDATE_PICKING looks these two are used to update picking quantity.

I need a suggestion whether anyone of these works for my requirement..?

After doing some research i found some solutions. Using WS_DELIVERY_UPDATE or SD_DELIVERY_UPDATE_PICKING we cannot complete picking status update..if we have Item category is relevant for picking...

Can any one please suggest how we can achieve auto picking status update for Outbound deliveries ...is there any user exit or enhancement options are available in SAP
