Dear all
In pp ours is only assembling(by labour only) the semi finished and some of spares to produce final product .
Activity type is labour.while assigning rates for activity type in kp26 in price planning how to fill the fields like
plan activity,capacity and price(fixed),variable price etc.
please guide me step by step

Hi,
For a particular cost center and the activity type, you just enter the variable price as say 10 Rs. This is all you have to do.
It will solve your problem.

Dear,
The cost centers, activity types and activity rates are maintained by CO people.
For PP consultant, while creation of the work centers, these cost center and activity type combination has to be entered in the costing tab page.( Along with the formula defined to calculate the qty or time. This is done by PP in OP21)
The values from the routing are picked up and using the formula at work center and activity rates, the cost is calculated.

It is exactlyas per the update sameer.
While creation of work center in the cost center tab PP guy will give the input of cost center & after taking the values form F4 the activity types will be filled.
These unit rates will be maintained by CO guy.
Better to coordinate with your CO collegue for htis.
