How do I follow a specific tag without having a piece of content with that tag?

How do I follow a specific tag without:

  1. Finding a piece of content tagged with the tag and then just clicking on that tag
  2. Creating a piece of content and tagging it with that tag so that I can then click on that tag

Use case: I saw in the list of tags that there is a tag called "SAP Web Analytics". I want to follow that tag. But I cannot find how to get to the tag page to follow it. I know that once I post this question and tag it with "SAP Web Analytics", I'll have my tag link and can follow then, but it seems like we should be able to get to a tag page without either 1) or 2) above.

Bonus question: how can we see a list of user-generated tags?

Hello Lee,

under "Community > About the Community" you'll find the "All about tags" page. There is an excel sheet attached with all available (non-user) tags and their urls.

So this should be a good starting point to look up your preferred tags and follow them.

I know, kind of complicated and old school (excel sheet), but it's a work around for now, while the team developes a build in search page etc. 🙂

.

Regards,

Steffi.

PS: I'm have not yet seen a way to find all user-tags.

Thanks Steffi, last time I had checked the URLs hadn't been included yet. Cheers, - Lee
