Campaign Start

Hello,

i am new in using the marketing in CRM. Now I have a question to the campaigns.

I used the marketing planner and created a new campaign with an element E-Mail. Now is my question how can I start this campaign?

Could someone tell me which steps I have to do, that the campaign starts?

Hi,

Hope you have made all the related settings for channels in the campaign. Select the target group assigned to the campaign and got 'Extras' and select 'Send target group to channel'. A job scheduler will open and you schedule the job to send e-mails to the assigned target group(BPs) either immediately or at at a preferred time and date.

all settings are done.

But I can't find "Extras" and "Send target group to a channel". Could someone explain me where I can find this?

Hi,

If you are executing the campaign from GUI its on the toolbar. If you are using campaign automation then its a push button to 'Send group to channel' on the segment tab page.

Hi Phillip,

you should also need to have a target group to which the emails will hit.

so you need to have released the marketing plan and the campaign and it is a status and once this is done then you need to click on send target group to channel and you also need to define the communication medium and assign this communication medium in the channels tab

Hi Phillip,

First you need to Release the campaign, after that you will be able to execute that campaign. So first change the status to Release and then select your target group, go to extra and follow the same steps as mentioned above.
