Brand image portal(not logon screen)

Hi Gurus

I have installed new EP sysem now I want to change brand image-portal, (i mean not the first logon screen) the second screen's brand image.

if any body knows please let me know

Hi,

I puppose you want to change the image on the masthead,

if this is so then you can do it from portal theme, for that , go to

system administration --> portal display --> select the theme the you are using & open it. Here you will find a property named "URL for branding image" so just click on browse and upload your image that you want to display from your local machine & now save the theme.

Dear ameya

I am able to open Portal Masthead and able to view preview and given my theme name, i am able to save, but i could not able to activate, even i restarted the system also, no masthead are changing.....my login user name is sysadmin, any special permissions required

Hi,

Are you changing the std theme? or you have saved the theme as custome and then doing changes? if it is custome theme then you need to add this theme to default desktop, go to portal display --> desktop & display rules --> portal users --> std users --> open the desktop and add your theme, once done then from personalise link you can change the theme and can see the changed branding image..master rule collection is needed only when you are controlling this theme for perticular set of users, if you are applying this for all then no need for changing the master rule.

Choose a Theme

Make Changes

If Any

--> Save It

Display Rules

Portal Content

Portal Users

Standard Portal

Users

<--

Copy [Default Frame

Work Page & Desktop]

Paste it In a New Folder

Rename The Desktop

1).OPen The Renamed Desktop

2). Open Folder Themes(sys) and R.C

3).Add theme to DESKTOP.

4)Save it.

Open ->portal Admin -> SuperADmin

open -> Master Role Collection

<--

Select a Role/user/group . From Master Role Collection

R.c On Renamed Desktop and " add Portal Desktop To Expression".

Open Renamed Dektop,Select the theme,

Hit The Button "Set Default" (save)

Logoff and Logon The Portal Page.

Go to System administrator and go to portal display and select the theme editor and look for URl for branding image.Upload a new image using the browse button
