revert deleting XI objects

Hi @ll;

is there a way of reverting the deletion of XI objects e.g. message mapping.

Possible szenario.

I delete a object, activate the change list and afterwards i want to undo this.

how to do that?

Also there is a possibilty to delete the change lists shown while exporting xi objects?

There are hundreds of change lists shown.

it would be nicely if there is a possibilty to define a rule like "delete all change lists older than

6 months".

maybe some of you have the same issue/questions

thanks in advance

Kind regards

Jochen

Hi,

you will find your deleted and activated objects in the "closed" change list

you can double click it and copy it as you want.

Hi,

You should be able to see your deleted XI objects in Change list tab and by selecting the check button Closed there.

Try to open and save from there.

Jochen,

To my knowledge you cant use this to retrive your deleted objects. When ever I face such scenarios, I use this method.

Go to the same name space and create a new object with the same name as the deleted one. Let it be a dummy object and activate the change.

Once done, open the object go to the object menu in the right side of the screen and select the option history. Here you can see all versions of the object. A version is created when ever you do some change and activate it. Here open the version you need and save it with a different name.

Finally when you are done, you can delete the dummy object and restore the name for the original object by copying it.
