Hi,
most of the features of SXMB_moni and RWB are explained in above post.
I will be adding few more points in it,
SXMB_MONI
SXMB_MONI is for monitoring Processed XML messages
XI messages stored in the persistence layer of the Integration Engine can be observed by the monitoring tools (transactions SXMB_MONI, SXMB_ADMIN) of the Integration Engine.
SXMB_MONI is Monitoring Tool used in Integration Engine. Its completely based on ABAP stack while RWB is based on JAVA stack thus in RWB you can not monitor the logs for IDOCs or ABAP proxy. which is bit possible in SXMB_MONI.
RWB (Runtime Workbench) is Central tool in SAP Exchange Infrastructure for monitoring and testing the individual components and for monitoring message processing and performance.
It includes monitor of all XI components like Adapter Engine, and checking whether each component is working properly or not.

I also had added few more previous discussions about it,
Thanks

Hi,
SXMB_MONI is used to monitor the Integration Engine Monitoring i.e the Processed XML Messages we can able to see here.
RWB is a tool which we can able to see all the components like AE, IE, ....
Here we can monitor all the Communication channels.
The one difference we can say is MONI is on ABAP Stack And RWB is On JAVA Stack

Hi Venkat,
I suppose you wanted to know the difference between the monitoring in SXMB_MONI and RWB.
1. SXMB_MONI: Here you can monitor only the messages with some header information present in the Integration Engine.
2.But RWB is a central monitoring tool using which you can monitor the XI message and process flow at different levels :
● Component monitoring
● Message monitoring
● End-to-end monitoring
● Performance monitoring
● Index administration
● Alert configuration
● Cache monitoring
Hope it helps.

http://<hostname>:<j2eeport>/rep is used to open RWB from j2ee stack.
both are same.the way of approach is different.

it is not SXMB_IFR it is SXMB_MONI.
SXMB_MONI is used to monitor the Integration Engine.
RWB is use to monitor whole components of XI like IE, AE, Communication channels, Message monitoring etc.
