OM alternative position

Hi

While a position holder (Let us call him "A") is leaving for a long vacation there is a need to substitute him, temporarily, with another employee (Let us call him "B").

Should I maintain relation: 006-substitute ?, 210-Substitute with profile ?, Any other idea ?, between positions of "A" and "B" ?

Be noted that out organization is POSITON based and all

authorizations are linked to postions too.
