hai experts,

i need to work on shift planning ,can anybody send me the configuration steps for shift planning.

HI

Shift planning is having two status,

1. Target shift aND

2. Actual shift..

Employee's target shift is what we plan as per the Period work schedule. however the actual shift is in what employee attended the office. Actual shift may change for employees because of unforseen reasons.

Once the employee atteneded the office In Transcation Code PP61 go to Actual plan radio button and mark the shift.

thanks for immediate response,yes i need to configure shift planning,so send me the configuration nodes in IMG,

send me which are standard and which nodes we have to configure,it will be most helpful,if you send the above.

hai ravi,

what are the essential steps needed to configure shift planning as u r given one of the node,i think we need to configure different profiles,shoft groups,requirement types etc,

like wise is there any thing more to work on,send me some important nodes i have to go through.
