In production planning, when does reservation created for the dependent requirements, after planning run, or at the time of conversion of planned order to production order, or before releasing the production order.please explain step by step

Hi

The reservations in the production order are created according to the customizing setting we do in the order type dependent parameters .

In the customozing for order type dependent parameters for each order type we can set the setting as

1-immediately

2-during release

3-never create

Hi

As updated by other memebrs when production order is created either conveting planned order OR cmanaul creation , reservation will get created automatically.

these reservations can not be dleted manually.

For this functionality , you can not create manual reservation.

Dear GL Bl,

In Discrete Manufacturing,

1.When a Planned order is converted into a production order

and saved ,Reservations are created for the components.

2.When a production order is created manually reservations are

created for the dependent components.

3.While converting a planned order into production order,just

just save the production order without releasing it,and check in

MB25 or else in MMBE for any one of the dependent

component whether reservations are created or not and

confirm when the system is creating reservations.

4.Manual reservations can be created using T code MB21.

5.In REM - Repetitive Manufacturing material reservations can

be made either using MF60 or else MB21.

Hi,

Reservations are created when a Plannned order is converted to production order or a production Order

is created manually.

Whena planned order is created dependent reqmts. are created and planned order is converted to Prod. order,these dependent reqmt.are converted to reservations.
