PR creation date

Hi All,

I need to get the PR creation date.

In my scenario the PR is created and changed many times as per the requirement.

I need the date on which the PR is originally created for reporting.

ie the PRs created during a particular given period say Jan 2008.

You can also find in the PR itself in qty/date tab on the line item and you also check who change the qty and item on the same PR no. Environment -> Item chenges

Hi Sridhar,

Please use version Management

SPRO->Mat. Mgt.->Purchasing->Version Mgt.-> Execute Set Up Version Mgt. for Pur. Requisition

Put 'Tick' mark on Version Active, Version 0 OK and External OK (CONTROL DATA) and Reason, Short Text, Requester, External Number and Posting Date MAKE IT DISPLAY (FIELD SELECTION)

After this, PR will pop-up with Version Mgt. tab, create PR and click on version tab (see what it is showing) and save. Then make any changes to that PR and save and see the changes.

It will solve your all problems related to changes in Pur. Req.

The version management is active.

But is there any place I can get the details when the version 0 is completed.

Also can anyone eloborate on the procedure to check the entries in CDHDR table.

Also I am looking for a list or a report for the docs. created during a period and not individual documents.

Hi,

Run SE16 > give table CDHDR (push enter)> give your filter criteria (e.g. 'ME51' in selection filed 'Transaction' (CDHDR-TCODE), you can also give the date range (CDHDR-UDATE)).

I guess 'object value' is in connection with the requisition itself - how to get the PR number from it I don't know.

Just take the EBAN-BADAT requirement date, as this is equal to the creation date.

You can get your requirement in ME5A Tcode itself, select the the following fields released date, requirement date and changed on, in the ALV grid control Layout.

You can also get PR creation date from table field EBAN-BADAT using SE16.

Hi ,

In both ME5A and EBAN-EBDAT the date keeps on changing if there are any changes done to the PR.

I want the original creation date even if changes are made subsequently.

If your PR was created manually you can catch the date using table CDHDR.
