Can someone Please explain me what is the purpose of Audit inspection (Inspection type 07 ).

When inspection lot is get created .

But I have one doubt if I found some quantity defective in this recording then how to post these quantity to scrap or block stock & one more thing at which state we generally do this recording I mean for Raw material, semifinish material, Finish Material .

Hi Sunil,

Inspection lot created by Inspection type 07 manually is not relevant for Stock postings. It is generally used for Raw materials as this inspection type also referred as Vendor Audit inspection.

I'm sorry, but the answers for these are not on the mark. While the 07 is a manual, non-stock relevant inspection type, and it can be used like an 89, i.e. done when needed, it was not intended for that.

07 lots are the only lots used in the vendor audit score component of the vendor evaluation score. The 07 Q-scores are used in calculating the vendor audit component.

This inspection type was meant to be used for when you visit a vendor and perform a site audit of the vendor. The inspection lot is only created manually.

Hi,

Inspection lot for Audit Inspection has to be created Manually using QA01.It will not get created automatically.

If you have a any audit inspection to be carried out In case you just want to record the result on a constant interval basis to see the decay of a product,,,thenh we use this.

This is semular to 09, but no stock posting happens.
