configurable material

Hai

while creating PIR at md61 for configurable material X (contains X1 and X2 as dependents ) , on saving, error massage is comming like NO PLANNING PROFILE MAINTAINED FOR MATERIAL..

I created X as kmat type material

X1 and X2 as raw materials.

created characteristics( colour and tyre )assinged in class and X is assigned to class in classification view.

created configurable profile cu41.

then try to create requirement at md61, above error is comming

In MDP6 - you need to create a Planning profile

Please create the above and then goto MD61

Hi,

just check once, by following process.

u create a material with material type KMAT

make setting there if it is not available in it

In Bsic data 1 gen item category 002

Basic data 2 tick on 'aterial is configurable'

save it.

create class by CL01 with class type 300

create characteristick witch is ur veriable product

in CT04

e.g. veriabel requirment is colour

create characteristics "colour type"

values are red,blue,yellow,etc.

and assign it to created class.

maintain valuation class in costing veiw.

SAVE.

for this maintain super BOM with super Routings

for this.

create cofiguarable profile cu41.
