What are the steps to validate PI (7.31) system that is working fine or not..?

Hi friends,

I have to validate my newly released Dev and qas and Preprd systems that are working fine or not.Can anybody please tell me how to validate these newly released systems properly working or not and how to know that connection has been established between PI and ECC.

can anybody tell me what are the steps involved in validating the system.
