JavaApplication iotmms is not starting up

Last week i set up my first iot scenario following this guide:

https://blogs.sap.com/2016/03/28/stream-your-iphones-sensor-data-to-hana-cloud-platform/

I managed to set it up and it run perfectly. But the next day it did not work anymore. Somehow I cannot start the iotmms java app. When I try to start the service, the "starting" whell spinns a long time it and at some point the brower session expires.

I read other threads with people having similar issues. The solution provided to those people was:

1. Stop your iotmms

2. Go to its Data Source Bindings and delete the <DEFAULT> binding (if any)

3. In your HCP Cockpit -> Databases & Schemas -> click New

4. Give some name i.e. "customiotmmschema", choose "HANA<shared>" as type, Save

5. Return back to iotmms -> Data Source Bindings -> click New Binding -> select your "customiotmmschema"

6. Start iotmms

But that did not work for me.

Has Anybody an idea what I could do?

Thanks for your suggestions,

Benedict
