Particular t-code exclusion from assigned t-code range in role

Hello SAP Gurus,

I have one requirement to exclude a t-code from given range of t-code in role.

Case Scenario :

Role Name : Z_ROLE

Authorisation Object : S_TCODE

Values : From S* to Z*

Now I want to exclude a single t-code starting from Z for e.g ZTEST without loosing all other Z t-codes. Can we do it such exclusion..??

Hi Path,

Unfortunately, you can not specify directly that a transaction is excluded from a role

The only way to exclude it is not to include it.

The solution I find here is to do something like that:

Role Name : Z_ROLE

Authorisation Object : S_TCODE

Values : From S* to ZTESS* and from ZTESU* to ZZ*

Always adapting this to your needs
