I am on BW 3.5 and have a cube with date/salesrep/customer & a count (= to 1) per row. I need to know the count of UNIQUE customers sold to by the rep over ANY given date range.
I know, I know...there is a "How To..." paper out there that explains very nicely how to do this. UNFORTUANTELY, it is for BW version < 3.0!!!!! It has NEVER been updated for BW > = 3.0, and thus is NO HELP AT ALL!!!!!
Good luck with THIS issue, and thanks in advance for your help!!

Mark Ulrich
Create two Calculated Key Figures
First Calculated Key Fig CAL1. Just put your Count in the Formula section. Now goto the properties and click on the Enhance option. Select Average of all values with reference to Characteristic Customer.
Now create another Calculated Key Figure CAL2. In the formula section put Count/Cal1. Set Aggregation as After Aggregation.
Now use the Calculated Key Fig CAL2 in your query. This should give you the unique count.
Try it and see whether it works????

Why do you say "thus is NO HELP AT ALL!!!!!" ?
Ive successfully implemented it many times in BW 3.5
What is the issue you are facing?
