Hi All

Thanks in advance for giving your precious time.

As we are mapping old equipment with technical ID & also want to restrict that field. It should be in display mode. Only authorized person allowed to change it.

We are trying to achieve it by custom object.

1) SU20 : Field Name :TIDNR Data Element : TIDNR Table : ITOB

2) SU21: Object Class: ZPM Authorization Object : ZTIDNR

Two fields enter here a) TIDNR b) ACTVT

than press permitted activities. Here selected option are IE01, 02, 03, Read & Write.

Now created a role & assigned the same authorization object along with access to read only, but still its not working.

The easiest way is via transaction variants (transaction SHD0)
