PLM landscape preparation on ERP 6.0 EHP 7 system

Hello guys,

We have ERP 6.0 with EHP 7 based on NW 7.40..

and we are preparing to leverage the PLM functions, so I activated the EA_PLM business function, but I am not sure what to do next?

I don't see Product Life Cycle Management in IMG under Logistics - General, however some menus in different paths were activated..

I also upgraded EA_IPPE to 617 SP2 through SAINT (it was 400, actually don't know how come if I am already running EHP 7)

I tried to install PLMWUI but it showed it must be configured with a stack xml file through SOLMAN then installed with SUM (the step which I am not 100% ready for)

So my question here is what exactly PLMWUI for PLM is?

Is it a must to have, for the system to be utilizing PLM, or its functions can be redundantly accessed from normal SAP GUI tcodes through the current configuration?

and if it is the case why I cannot see PLM menu group neither under SAP menu nor the IMG ?
