Serial nos in repetitive manufacturing?

Dear PP Gurus,

I have created a serial no profile and assigned to material master record in work shceduling view.

Proceedure is PPSF:Serial nos in repetitive manufacturing

which i made as mandatory entry.

Now where can i see the impact..

Please suggest me..

Dear MBS ,

If you want to generate the serial number of which serialising procedure you used.

you can use IQ09 to display , IQ02 to change the material serial number , IQ04 -create serial number

if it is production order serial number go to ZPSL and give your production order system will

generate serial number for each qty.

When you do back flushing or when you do the GR , the system should prompt for serial number

Please suggest me the T-code and also which tab or screen i can see the field for serial no.

Hi

IN MFBF screen when you back flush (GR&GI), system propmts you to input for the serial numbers.

After you entyer save this in MFBF, if you want to see go to MMBE & keep the crsor on the particular stock line & the menu Environment -->equipment/serial numbers, then serial numbers will be displayed.
