related to oping balance

hi all,

i want to create new company in the 1april 2008 for that i want design the opening balance for the business partner and this balance i want to take from privous company.

so what is step to follow for automatic creation of balance like tally option is split

please help me

You would to export all Open transactions from your Old DB and import them to your New DB using DTW. You could probably fill the template directly using SQL.
