job interrupted

Hi all,

I've got a chain and in this chain there's a step which load from a 2Lis.

The 2Lis job is interrupted on R3 and the BW chain status is yellow.

Is enough to restart the R3 job or I have to do something on the chain itself?

Thanks in advance,

ZioCino

Hi

change the yellow Light to green in the status tab and it will ask for processing changes. Select yes and this will let the monitor know that this step is complete. it will then kick the next process

Hope this helps,

Hi,

I will suggest you to check a few places where you can see the status

1) SM37 job log (In source system if load is from R/3 ) (give request name) and it should give you the details about the request.

Also see if there is any 'sysfail' for any datapacket in SM37.

2) ST22 check if any short dump has occured

In your case as you told you need to retrigger it in source system. As a first step force the status of request to red in BW > RSMO.

Delete the request from the target(s).

Make sure that the failed request is teminated/finished in R/3.

Then retrigger the infopackage.

It should work fine.

Thanks,

May I set the status of the step to Red and than restart it with "maintain variant -> schedule -> Start Data Load Immediately -> Start"?

Doing so, all the chain restart correctly?

Hi,

If the load is not completed you can change the status to red and repeat the process again.
