PA OM Intrgeation Issue

Former Member

Hi,

We have an urgent issue in PRD. There seems to be some problem with the connection between Org Mgmt and Personnel Admin.

When we change certain data points in OM (such as cost center or job) it creates a corresponding record in PA. But as of today, this PA record is being defaulted to a start date of 12/14/9999, irrespective of the actual date we input.

It is causing the error message below.

It is creating overlapping records on the PA side that cannot be deleted.

Can some one help me finnding the root cause?

Thanks,'

Rafi.

Do you have integration related jobs running on your system? i.e. RHINTE30, RHINTE00 etc?

Rafi,

What is exactly is the change done to the OM object/s? Different changes to different OM objects have different Integration switches. Example, PLOGI SPLIT create a separate infotype 1 for affected employees when you change the description of an Org Unit or Position.

Please check also the Objects (Org Unit/Job/Cost Center) that has been changed. It is possible that the Objects (IT1000) validity period has been changed and thus the PA record is affected as well.

Do you have RHINTE30 or RHINTE10 running as batch jobs in your system?

Hi,,

First you have to activate PLOGI ORGA switch, this is the integration between OM and PA, than you have to activate the all the following for recruitment to convert application data to employee master data i.e. RHINTE30, RHINTE00 RHINTE10.

Samba.
