Leave quota not deducted on ESS

Hi Experts

I am using the ECC 6.0, EP 6.0. and using the standard SAP leave workflow 12300111 for leave approvals.

When I want to see the quota in ESS it shows the perfect number of leave quota as in SAP R3.

But when I am trying to apply for a leave it says" Attendance/absence type 0200 (Casual leave) require minimum of 1 Attendance/absence days".

What could be the problem??

Plz suggest.....

Hi Sheetal,

This is because, the minimum time limit for that Leave Type is maintained as 1 day in Time Config

Go to SPRO->Time Management-> Time Data Recording and Administration-> Absences->Absence Catalog-> Define Absence Types.

Here check for the absence type 0200. There is an entry for minimum duration.

Hi,

This is problem in backend SAP R/3, because there is enough quota per that employee.

If you go to Time management--> and define Quota type and maintain the base entitlement some constant like 30.days and give all the deduction rule and assign your absence types to that quota.

And also you have to go to Employee self service--> working time: here also you have to define the respective quota type .
