Cross Comapany code Planning

is it possible to do Cross company code MRP ?

if yes , how ? or whr can i get the information abt the same ?

Dear,

it can be done through MD01

Here you need to enter Scope of planning

Scope of planning is define in img

OM0E

In this give a planning scope code let us say "ALL"

In the sequence of plants screen give the sequence no in Contr and plant code on plant field

You can give list out all the plants required irrespcive of company code.

ThenRun MD01...system wil RUnn MRP in all the plants.pl come back if required

If we want to configure scope of planning with plants in different company codes . It may accept at that point.

If we use special procurement key for some materials with receiving plant & issuing plant in different company codes. how it will work out.

This is mydoubt.

I am asking as en extension of this thread.

Hi,

Intercomany code stock transfer is possible

Actually in the intra company code stock transfer the PO document is UB,in that PO you give the supplying plant code.

But in the intercompany code document type is NB, so in the PO it will asks vendor not supplying plant.

So while creating vendor master in the purchasing view mentain the supplying palnt data.

Mean vendor is treated as supplying plant.

Then in the supplying plant create on customer and in the shipping point data(MM CONFIGURATION) of receiving mention the customer code.

By doing all these setting you do the intercompany code stock transfer.

I know all these settings about intrer company stock transfer.

My question is not this.

My question is MRP point of view:

If scope of planning is configure with plants in different co, codes & In that MRp run SPK is used, with plants in different co. codes.

I do not require answer in MMpoint of view.

I want solution in MRP point of view , if you have any experience in that aspect let me know.

Other wise I have pointed this question to Rajesha.

i am asking the same doubt expressed by YM Reddy that can we define scope of plan by takings plants which are under different company codes and also SPK function will be the same between plants which are inter company code.

Hi Daniel,

We can use the Special Procurement Key function belonging to different plants assigned to separate company codes (for inter company transactions) - PROVIDED BOTH THE COMPANY CODES BELONG TO THE SAME CONTROLLING AREA. If both company codes are assigned to different company codes we can not make use of the Special Procurement Keys.

The corrected one is below:

Hi

In std SAP It is possible to Run MRP on Plant basis only.

With in the plant you canrun MRP ON MRP area wise & MRP controller wise.

Where as you can TryPlanning in SOP ( Flexible planning) on cross company ciode wise.

Finally when the plan transfer to Demanad Management it will be on Plant wise only.
