Tax doesnot appear in sales order( using Vertex)

Hi,

We are using Vertex -tax procedure TAXUSX.

When I create a sales order, when I go to billing-conditions, condition type XR1 is listed,when I double click on XR1, the rate is shown has "6%"(assume this is coming from Vertex) , However,NO tax is getting calculated in the sales order.

What could be going on?

I checked Vertex connection is ok.

Checked FTXP, things are setup correctly there.

Please reply at the earliest.

One more check point will be to test a tax functional module.

Is your problem solved, if so can u please let me know how you fixed it. Also, if possible can u send me the vertex config in SAP related to SD- condition types and pricing procedures and tax calculation.

Hi

you can define tax exemptions within Vertex based on material or customer codes. Then Vertex will show that normally there would be 6% but for this case an exemption has been defined. You can check this only direct in the VERTEX software, not in SAP.
