Query URL's in the Portal environment for BW

Hello Experts,

We are in BW 7.4 and also have a Portal set up where reports are displayed through an iView.

My question is, when I check the URL of the queries appearing in the portal, I can see that they are appearing in two different formats:

1)https:// <server>:<port>/sap/bw/BEx?sap-language=EN&bsplanguage=EN&cmd=ldoc&INFOCUBE=<InfoCube Name>&QUERY=<Query Name>

The queries in the portal with the above URL are working as expected.

2)https://<server>:<port>irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/pcd!3aportal_content!2fcom.sap.pct!2fplatform_add_ons!2fcom.sap.ip.bi!2fiViews!2fcom.sap.ip.bi.bex?QUERY=<Query Name>

Queries with this URL link are not working and I am getting the message " Service Cannot be Reached".

Can you please offer some insights on how the URL in the portal is determined? What could be the reason why the queries with URL of type 2 are not being displayed.

Hi Arvind

Can you refer to the resolution section of the below KBA. That should solve the issue.

KBA # 1903061 - Service cannot be reached when click "Bex Web Analyzer"
