Hi all,

Without Online booking , Can we maintain the Air Fare Rate , Hotel rate in system so that we can estimate the Trip cost.

Process :

Employee selects the Travel Mode & Travel Class & Location based on that system will pickup the Standard rate maintained in the system.

WHile approving the Travel Request, Approver will see the Estimated amount and decide whether to be approved or not.

    Hi

without online booking, identifying the air travel rates are difficult which are dynamic where as it may possible to book the hotels without online but this also is not correct because some seasonality is there basing seasons also rates will vary.

Because of the said reasons air traveling is not possible, but hotel accommodation is possible with out exact travel cost.

    regards

    Madhav

    • Hi,

without connection to external reservation system a pricing is not possible. Within R/3 there is no

way to somewhere store rates. The rates have to come from outside and can not be determined internally. You can only use the field 'estimated cost' to manually enter estimated cost. But you have to include this field into the BUS2089 object so that the approver can see in in the inbox.
