AFL PAL seasonality and trend tests removing data from result

I have applied seasonality test on my data. The input table had rows from, say, 1 to 355. In the "detrended-deseasonalized" result I see only rows 27-329, and seasonality is determined with the period of 52. I wonder where rows 1-26 and 330-355 went. Interestingly, the number of missing rows is 52, which is exactly the determined period - is is some feature of the algorithm?

I see the same behaviour of the sample data in the PAL reference guide, but without any comment as to why.

Anyone has a comment on this? Thanks!
