HR - EMPLOYEE CREATION

Hi All

I m a functional consultant in FICO. These days we are working on travel management for a client.

In travel management I need to create some employess on which I can used my data.

Can anyone plz send me step by step configuraton of employee creation.

than in that case u need to take the help of HR people help

Basically I have to create some employess on my system on which I can test my customising of travel management.

Now employee creation is a part of HR Module. I have no knowledge about hr module.

so if possible u plz e-mail me some detail & step By step document on creation of employee.

Hi Deepak

This is something which HR takes care. Anyways you can create employees by hiriing them by running a Hire action. Below are the steps:-

1). Go to transaction PA40, Select Hire employee ( this should be included in the Action Menu)

2). Some series of Infotypes would follow up and keep creating them. You could see the PERNR is IT0000.

Employee is hired.

even i had same in mind but the query is he want it to test

in that regard he has to do all the necessary configuration on structures

Deepak if u want to run PA for test purpose than u have to do the configuratiuon in structures

Sikindar is correct Deepak. You need to do whole lot of configurations in IMG before directly hiring an employee thru PA40. What i would say is if you are working in a real time DEV system, whateever Action Menu you see under PA40, that should be the real one. If you have doubts just ask ur JR counterparts which ACtion Types are concerned to your client.

Then just select Hiring Action and proceed with the steps.

But its not only Action Menu in PA40 which you should be asking about, after you enter the Infotypes screens , you should also know, which Personnel Area , Personnel SUbarea, Position, etc etc etc etc to consider to successfully hire a person in ur organisation.

i would suggest take help of some functional HR person in ur project.
