What is the usage of the following

Checkbox - Generate Excise Reg No

Adj.Trans (Period 13)

Secondly the user wants the Remarks field length to 500 characters as there narration is too long.

Is it possible ?

Sanjay,

1. Adj.Trans.(Period 13): This is marked for those entries which are being created during the year end. They are marked to close the entries. You can exclude closing entries when you are generating reports.

2. Generate Excise reg no.: This is a Internal no. Serially created by the system . Used only if you want the system to create internal Excise Reg no. internally at the JE stage for manualk entries.

I have created 12 posting periods.So you mean to say all the outstanding or prepaid ie Adj.Transaction in my case, i will have to enter in the month of March 08 ie (Period 12).

April 07 -March 08, i have defined 12 posting period.There is no 13th posting period.How do i go about it.

Or is it i have to define 13 Posting period.Can u give me an example in my case so accordingly i can update the user.
