Hi
What is the FM that can be used to create a Bdoc manually for outbound in CRM?
Thanks
Karthik
Hello Karthik,
Bdocs are used to transport/replicate new or delta data internally and to other systems. It makes no sense to create a bdoc manually if the corresponding object for which you want to create this bdoc has not changed. Why informing other systems of changes when none has occured?
The whole bdoc process is done automatically by the middleware layer, if you want to change it's behaviour you should setup or customize the middleware layer in your system.
A starting point for customizing the middleware is the SMOEAC transaction. A total overview of the middleware can be obtained in the middleware portal, transaction SMWP.
Reward points if useful!
Kind regards,
Joost

Hi Joost
Appreciate your response. I have a scenario, where data in CRM is created from a legacy system and stamped with SAP system date & time. But the actual time stamp for this data in legacy system is different. I want to block the Bdoc SAP CRM generated, and generate manually another Bdoc with the data from CRM and the time stamp from legacy system. Considering the various business scenarios, i adopted for this approach.
Regards
Karthik
