Hi Friends,

All our systems are connected to solution manager SLD and i can see the systems in SLD all the software components are seen in solman sld and also I can see SYSTEM (SID) in LMDB. But add-on BP-ERP 604V5 which is showing in solman sld and also in lmdb but it is not assign to any product instance hence when ever we are using maintenance planner for planning we are getting warning as below..

"The technical system contains the following components which were not checked, because they are not assigned to any installed product: Software Component Version(s) not assigned to any installed product version - BP-ERP 604V5[0]"

when i check LMDB this add-on BP-ERP 604V5 is not assign to any product instance and we cannot even add this manually because this should come automatically.

solman: 7.2 sp06

Kindly advice..

Thanks

Hi Tabrayzi

You are right in terms of ideally having LMDB assign those components automatically to product instances.

However, when it's not the case and it is valid, you do have it in your system, you should still assign it manually to ensure you cover everything when you want to patch your system.

So in this case, if you're SLD content is up to date and everything you could do has been done and it's still not assigned automatically, I would assign it manually in order to cover it and be able to proceed.

Second option is create a SAP customer message and ask SAP to check.

Best regards

Tom

Hi Tom,

I tried with LMDB_AUTO_DS_OVRWRT with value 06 its not allowing me to change under software component version tab in LMDB - techincal system -software then software component version. However its allowing me to change or add under product instance (details) tab and when i click on add i am not able to find product version for BP-ERP?

On back end system bp-erp was bp-erp 604v5 and my system is ehp7 hence i also upgraded it or rather installed BP-ERP 617V5 but still same issue.

also raised message with SAP but did not get any solution yet.

Thanks

Hi,

what is the version of backend system, is this product installed there. try syncing Backend(RZ70)->SLD->LMDB(use LMDB sync itself or sync thru report RLMDB_SYNC_TECHNICAL_SYSTEM) in solman

run the verification for technical system it will suggest the required and allow you to assign it.

Best Regards

Syed.
