"Send Email" Option in Menu

Hi All,

I am working in ChaRM Configuration Solman 7.2, i tried to use the "Send Email" option in the menu but the mail is not triggering to the mail box. Even the BP is assigned for the recipients properly the mail is not triggering. Can you please help me in this.

Then did "send email via contact" action is linked to this "Send Email" option??

Hi,

Apologies for the delay,

Can you go to T-Code SOST, Click on System button on the Menu bar and click Short Message. Try generating a test email and let me know if the email is triggering in the SOST.

Thanks for your reply.

I am working in SP05 version. Then i am getting that screen which you shared, when i click send option its is showing like "Email is sent" but the mail is not triggering to the mail box and it is not reflecting in SOST also.

I referred the link which you shared i configured the settings but still it is not working for me.

Hi Selva,

Once you click the "Send Email" option, you should get a page like something I have attached here. By the way, it would also be great if you could mention in which SP version of Solution Manager 7.2 are you working in. Did you get this ? And even after clicking SEND, is it not getting delivered to the recipients or not appearing in the SOST itself ?

In order to send email automatically in background through SAP, you require Action Definitions (Picture attached) - Go to T-Code SPPFCADM --> Select your Action Profile --> You need to have an Action Definition similar to the one I have attached. Customise

it to trigger email at various USER STATUS.
