While creating Purchase Requisition is it possible to get to know the stock of that material there?

Hi gurus !! In my process business doesn't checks stock while creating purchase requisition for a material. So, after I enter material no, I need system to display stock of that material in a field. Is it possible? How?

Just open a second session and look at MMBE.

Why don't you setup correct MRP view entries and let MRP do the job of creating requisitions.

Looking at the stock is usually not sufficient to do planning, as it does not tell you much about reservations and orders in regard to the time when they need the stock.

If the requirement is only to see the stock (which out any system checks), then in ME51N screen after enter material, go to environment and choose material stock. It will take you to the MMBE screen directly.
