Download organization data to Mobile

Hi,

I have problem for download organization data to Mobile (CDB). I maintain organization data by transaction PPOMA_CRM. I have 4 distribution channel '10', '20', '50' and '70'. I maintain default distibution channel at '20'.

But after I download organization data to Mobile via spro (tcode-CRMD_DOWNLOAD_OM). I used option 'initial'. I check data in SMOMITAREA , default distribution is still '10' .

Anyone can help me will be appreciated.

Hi,

I would suggest you to remove the business partner and product subscription from your client site, and then run the contrance application. This will remove all the BP and Product from your site.

Then initial download the organization by using T-code CRMD_DOWNLOAD_OM.

Hi,

I cannot see any correlation between the CDB sync which holds the mentioned problem and the subscription of a site? The mentioned sync "only" fills the SMOMITABT/SMOMITAREA with the accordant data retrieved from the CRM Org model.

Besides this you never should run an initial sync again after this has been done already as the duplicate check is not working properly and especially Mobile only fields (maintained in MSA exclusively like currency) are blanked again!!

Also I don't think that in this case an automatic R&R is triggered to fill the Mobile outqueues.

Is the delta DNL working fine i.e. not dumping (which still might occur in 4.0/5.0)?

Thank for your suggestion.

But I cannot remove the business partner and product subscription from your client site because it geneate a large number of message to Mobile.

My CRM system has BP about 70,000 BPs and 250,000 products.

It suffer when remove subscription.

And I think data in SMOMITAREA is not related with BP and Product.

Do you have any idea

Hi Wolfhard,

I have no problem in diffence data betweeb CDB and table in Mobile Client. I mean that data in SMOMITAREA in Mobile client are the same as SMOMITAREA in CDB Server.

But I face the problem that SMOMITAREA in CDB Server are not look like data in maintain organization after I initial download organization.

I monitor Load Object DNL* , all object are load successful except DNL_MKTPROF is fail since 11/2006. That we face problem about marketing attribute.

Now my CRM is 4.0.

If have any suggestion will be appreciate.

Hi,

in case the sync between CRM org model and CDB table smomitarea is not working properly you better do the following:

- deassign the particular employee from the org model node, save

- run the sync report in Tx spro mentioned above (delta, not initial)

- check data in smomitarea for particular employee: should be empty now - but I am afraid that there still are some "waste" data

- reassign the particular employee to the org model node, save

- run the sync report in Tx spro mentioned above (delta, not initial)

Thank for your suggest.

I've try follow your suggestion. But after run report , It's seem like there 's nothing effect with default sales area

The default sales area are still '10'.

So, I try delete attribute distribution channel '10', '50' and '70'

and delta download. Data in table SMOMITAREA have changed.

The record for distribution '10', '50' and '70' are deleted and default is at '20'. That's the way I want.

But I add attribute distribution channel '10', '50' and '70' and delta download again. Data in table SMOMITAREA have record for distribution '10','50' and '70'. BUT default have change to distribution channel '10'. ---> The same problem occur.

Any help Please..

Hi Siriporn and Wolfhard

I think that there is a more fundamental problem with the replication between CRM and CDB for the org model.

We have just raised an OSS as new entries move smoothly into the CDB, but modifications to existing entries do not.

I will let you know if we get a fix.
