Why Confirmation is possible after TECO

Hi All,

please tell me why orders can be confirmed after technical completion. After comfirmation of all operation we go for TECO & then settlement, so why system allows for confirmation.

Hi,

As you may very well be aware, "TECO'" is system status for which atributes and characteristics are hard-coded in the system. If you want to know what all business transaction are allowed under a given status, select the object ->edit->status->system/user status->business transaction. Here you get a set of business transactions which are permitted / Prohibited etc.Or alternatively, you can use transaction BS23 and find entire reporterie of statuses and impact on transactions.

Now coming back to your question why TECO status allows confirmation - "TECO" status permits actual postings. As you may know, confirmation leads to actual cost postings.Hence confirmation should be allowed in TECO status.
