Hi

We created three Material FERT, HALB, ROH Where HALB is a component of FERT. We are manufacturing HALB In house .During the MRP Run of FERT material Planned order cretaed for HALB Material .

Now We want to process HALB material from Sub contract. For that we maintaind special procurement Key 30. So system created PR for HALB material during MRP Run.

Now again If we want to process same material In house then we have to remove special procurement key to create Planned Order . Is their any other method so that we need not to change material master each time when we shift from Inhouse to Sub contract OR Vice versa.

Hello

You can use, for example, a quota arrangement, to define a percentage of planned orders to be created for subcontracting a percentage for in-house processing and a percentage for subcontracting.

If you will always have the subcontracting and the internal processing for your material, instead of the subcontracting special procurement, you can define one of your production order operations to be processed externally, with control key PP03.
