Is it possible to define Default Values for BOM's plantwise?

Yes, You can create at initial BOM creation.(CS01)

Hi

BOM creation is above plant level. We can default values for all plants. Even we can create BOM without plant and assign plant after wards.

This facility is given to create Engineering BOM at premature stage of the product where the product full spec is not know at early stage. So we cannot do default values at plant level.

as per my idea,

first we have to make simple bom.we can make copy of same bom to different plants.then go to perticular plant,then make changes in CS02 ,default values.

Hi,

Configure the BOM status in OS23 and then define default values for BOMs in the OS28. If you save this, automatically it picks the data of BOM status and Base Quantity.

It is not possible to default values for specific plants.

Base qty and BOm status are at client level and not at plant level

check in OS28.

Plant level...is not possible.
