Server not showing in SAP MMC

My SAP MMC shows only this:

"LapTopLier" is the name of the standalone laptop on which I installed SAP Netweaver Applications Server. I used Microsoft Loopback Adapter, but don't know how to set it for use with SAP.

I can not see any errors here, it looks fine, here as your computer name is LaptopLier, that is why it is taking as the laptoplier Hostname for this SAP System NSP. You can start the SAP service by right-clicking on NSP -> All Tasks Start -> enter the password for this User of your laptop & start. If any more further clarification required, then we would love to hear from your side.

    Thanks,

    Kaushik

LapTopLier did not have a Windows password on it (shame on me). I created a password, rebooted my laptop, did as you advised above, and green lights everywhere!

Please note that I had already assigned IP 10.10.10.10 and mask 255.255.255.0 to the Microsoft Loopback Adapter before I posted my question. Apparently is was not necessary to change the hosts file to get the green lights. Thanks a lot, Kaushik.
