Blocking/deletion of article in SAP IS retail.

Can anyone pls tell us how we block/delete the artcle in SAP IS retail.

Hello,

The first step is to delist the article from DC and then from stores using transaction WSP6. The articles can be prevented by replenishment/procurement by applying MM Status block at Article level or Article/Site level using MM42/MM46. Finally, Articles can be deleted/archived using transaction MM71.

If i delist an Article from a Particular store what happens to my Article that is already available in that store.

will it show in my stock list?

Can i sell that article ?

Hi,

You can discontinue the article using Tcode WSE1 and then archive same by using Tcode MM71.

Dear Vishal

You can't delete the article once created in SAP. You can block the same by MM42 Store Specific Data (Logistic Store) at 'X' Plant Status and block the article.

Hi,

In Is Retail we can not delete the articles once created. however we can block the articles for processes.

like

01 Blocked for procment/whse

02 Blocked for task list/BOM

03 Blocked for Purchasing

This kind of block we can assign at DC level or at store level or both.

path: For blocking at DC level:

You can mark article for deletion using t-code WSE1 and unblock using WSE8

We can de-list the articles and archive the articles in SAP IS-Retail.

Prior to article archiving, we have to delete all the relationships like:

1. Source Lists : MARC

2. Purchase Info Records : ask the user to delete it by providing the list from the tables : EINA table

3. Physical Inventory Documents : MI02

4. Promotions against the articles set for deletion.: WAK3 and reduce the validity period

5. Stock Management : MARD

6. BOM's : CEWB

After the relationships are broken out, the BOM acts as a single article. post you can archive all the articles using SARA.

You can de list the article from DC and store WSP6.  You could archive an article using MM 71

hi vishal,

As you are going for block/ deletion, make sure you don't have any stock in any stores for sales.

If you are blocked the articles and sales data posted aganist the article, error will occur in idoc.

Please follow these steps:

1.Check any stock in the stores. Still they want to cleat the stock?--chk with business

2.Check any open PO's aganist the article? If yes, please delete the article from PO's

If you are decided to block/ delete after first 2 steps

3.Use article block in Basic data / Logistics DC or Logistics store.(If you want to block the article for certain period)

4.De lsit the article

5. Delete/ Archive the article as mentioned in the above replies
