Hi SAP Gurus:

If I am creating a reservation 3 weeks ahead and MRP/APO converts that reservation to a purchase requisition, when I do a GR for the PO how do I get an alert or a message that the goods have been received for that reservation. In purchase requisition or a PO I do not see a reference to the reservation.

in me21n at header level ther is a check box of gr message if u mark this then system will send u a message at gr in migo please make sure u have maintinaed the requester in po

hi atul,

reservations from mrp is converted to planned order or purchase request; which further helps to proceed for purchase order by adopting that purchase request.

during Goods receipt, you adopt the purchase order.

so link will be with po and purchase request; not with reservation and po.

maximum you can do one thing you can put reservation number in purchase request as text and which can be seen when you will click pr no. in purchase order.

hi Mr.atul

1.Reservation is nothing but u are reserving the materials which u need for future.

2.I m not sure that u can't get a any alert for reserved materials.

3.By seeing the stockoverview in MMBE,MB5B,and MB52, u can receive the material from store person by giving the reservation number as a reference.
