Crystal Reports 2008 - Report Creation API

I am submitting this question on behalf of a customer who is using Crystal Reports 2008 with a valid license key and is experiencing the following issues.

The Class CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.ReportDocument does not work as it needs a KeyCode.

I have created a simple coding example demonstrating the problem:

This ties in with what the License Manager displays. Using the LicenseManager.exe program, it shows:

The License Manager is expecting a Keycode for the Report Creation API.

What is needed to resolve the exeption and get Class CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.ReportDocument to work?

Hi Jullian,

Rather than updating the keycode use the new CR for VS which is now the replacement for the .NET SDK packages 2008 used and installed.

CR Designer 2011 and above no longer installs the runtime, CR for VS is the only one available.
